"Don't worry, all you have to do is be yourself"

This is some of the best advice there is, but almost totally useless.

Few of us know exactly what we are doing when we are being ourselves. The Marlston approach is to show our clients exactly what they are doing when they communicate well, and how to build on it. That way we believe that they become far better equipped to achieve the two essential goals of any presentation:

  • Get the message across in a way that the key points can be easily identified and remembered.
  • Put across an impression of your true, positive and professional personality.

Most of us achieve these two goals without problem - in relaxed conversation.

What makes our approach so different is that we identify the characteristics of your natural conversational style that help you achieve the two goals and so help you to repeat and build on what normally works so well.

A couple of things we won't do:

  • We don't teach 'tricks' or contrived body language. We build on what's there already without introducing any artificial elements into the communication.
  • We don't tell you what to say. You are the only one who really knows what you want to say, all we will do is help you to craft it into the most effective form and deliver it in the most natural and compelling style

The Marlston approach guarantees a presentation that is natural, confident, structured and convincing.
