The deep knowledge and insight that's developed over a career in sport is a unique asset. However, a great sports star doesn't necessarily make a successful broadcaster. We'll help you develop the skills required to communicate your experience and views in a broadcast environment.

In addition to many of the techniques covered in our 'Media Skills for People in Sport' course, our consultants will also focus on the following areas:

  • Basic interviewing skills
  • Introduction to Autocue
  • Live presenting techniques
  • Interviewing for radio
  • Understanding broadcast technology
  • Writing copy for the newspapers
  • Presenting yourself - appearance, body-language, TV dress sense
  • Marketing yourself to the media
  • Introduction to Sports Commentary - (half-day session with leading sports commentator)

Duration:

Two days or four half days

Fees:

£4,900 - £5,700 (Approximate fee indication only)

Goal:

At the conclusion of the course we give our clients an honest assessment of their media skills and potential. They will also be provided with a showreel for future use.
